We're here to listen and help, but more importantly, we strive to build lasting relationships with our fellow fly fishing brothers and sisters.

To best serve you we offer a secure online customer service ticket system for communication. Shipping & Sales Tax Policies

Shipment dates are based on product availability, payment processing time, gift wrapping time and order processing, and does not include transit time. Note, payment processing will not begin until we receive all the information needed, including product availability, to authorize the purchase. Orders placed on the weekend or on a holiday will not begin payment processing until the next business day. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Reserve holidays. All products are shipped from our store located in Seattle, WA. Please Note: Title and risk of loss for all products will pass to you on delivery.

Next business day service is not available to post office boxes or APO/FPO addresses.Product orders that equal $50 or more, are eligible for free standard ground shipping via UPS or USPS. Customers who select free standard shipping should expect delivery with 5-7 days after leaving our facility.

Washington Sales Tax - The Avid Angler is required to collect state and local sales tax on orders shipped to Washington state where we have a physical presence.

Returns & Exchanges Policies
By filling out our Return & Refund form you will create a customer service ticket. An email will be sent to you with instructions for tracking and viewing your ticket. Once we receive and approve your return, refund or exchange request we will contact you through the ticket system and issue a Return Material Authorization number (RMA).

The RMA must be requested within 10 business days of the receipt of the product. If the item is returned unopened and unused in the original packaging we will exchange it or offer you a refund based on your original method of payment. The product must be returned to The Avid Angler within 10 business days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be packed in the original, unmarked packaging including any accessories, documentation and registration that shipped with the product and must not have been used.

NOTE: The Avid Angler recommends that you (1) use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns and (2) either insure your package for safe return to The Avid Angler or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are completely protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you choose not to (1) use a carrier that offers tracking and (2) insure or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping. Please note that the United States Postal Service (USPS) offers limited tracking capabilities and that there is a 30-calendar-day waiting period before the USPS will initiate a trace.

International Orders
The Avid Angler includes a 20% international surcharge (or a minimum of $30 USD) of the Total Order Value. This fee covers ALL duty, taxes, shipping and handling. No other charges will be added. Express delivery is not offered to customers outside the United States and Western Canada.

In-stock items normally leave our shop within 24 hours. Allow 7-10 days for standard ground delivery.

Note: some merchandise is not available for shipment outside the United States, including but not limited to, oversized items, hazardous materials, and food.

Payment made by credit card will be billed in US dollars.
